Matea Alandré Austin (Austin) Obituary (1999 - 2022)

Matea Alandre' Austin was born February 13th, 1999 to Leander Austin and Stephanie Hart. She passed away September 27th, 2022 in her home. As a child, Matea was joyous and sweet. After her little brother Lee was born they were inseparable. Even as a young girl Matea was nurturing. She was always trying to care for her siblings. As a teenager things got harder for her but she always stayed strong and made the best of things. Matea had her first son at 18 and has lived for her boys since then. She was fun loving, loved to dance and be goofy. She spent a lot of her time with her friends enjoying life. She loved her boys, family, and friends with everything in her. She lost her son Messiah in May, 2021. She struggled to get herself back together after that but her strength, her ability to keep going no matter what is something I will always be proud of. Matea was a beautiful, amazing young woman with a huge heart. She will forever be loved and missed. She was preceded in death by her grandma Kaye Austin, aunt Tristen Strunks, Uncle Cornelius Austin, and son Messiah Drayton. She is survived by her father and step mother, Leander and Kayla Austin, her mother and step father Stephanie and Jerrell Gunby, her brothers Lee, Corde, and Bowyn Austin, her sisters Alera Austin and Angel Hart-Hill, and sons Donnico Williams and King Lewis.
