Jovon Brandon Hall Obituary (1997 - 2023)

On June 30, 2023, Jovon Brandon Hall was called home to the King. Jovon was born the son of Theodore Hall and Annette Serna-Hall on June 14, 1997 in Topeka, Kansas. Jovon obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Washburn University in 2022. In his journey he was an Inter Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach with the University of Kansas & Nebraska. He then accepted a Strength & Conditioning Coach position with the Fighting Illini. Left to cherish Jovon are his parents; Theodore Hall and Annette Serna-Hall (Topeka, KS); brother, Jeremy Parker (Topeka, KS); sister, Ciara Hall (Topeka, KS); grandparents, John & Kathleen Reed (Wichita, KS); and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shelia Hall; grandparents, Lawrence and Louise Serna; great grandparents, Tommy and Thelma Brooks; uncle, John Reed Jr.; great uncle, Billy Richards; great aunt, Azalea Holland; aunt & uncle, Joan and David Cedillo. Jovon will lie in state at the Peaceful Rest Funeral Chapel, 401 SW Harrison St., Topeka, KS Wednesday, July 12th, from 6:00PM until 7:00PM where his family will receive friends. Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 13th, at 11:00AM at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 610 SE Lime St., Topeka, KS. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
