He was born to his mother Rose Ann Dangerfield and his father, Edward Otto Thurman I. Edward was a graduate of Washburn Rural High School. During his high school years he played basketball at W.R.H.S. He was also a boxer and champion kickboxer at Popeye Gym in Topeka Kansas. His last employment was at Target Distribution Center as a general laborer. Edward was also a member of Restoration Out Center (The ROC). There he was an assistant in the Audio and Sound Department. In his spare time, he was an avid fisherman. Edward loved his family, his Cadillac cars, and enjoyed listening to his music. Edward was preceded in death by his bonus parent, Delbert Dangerfield Sr., grandparents Margaret Moore, Lawrence Brown, Grace & Fredrick Thurman. He leaves to cherish his memory three sons:Tra'von Thurman (Manhattan, KS), Edward Otto Thurman III and Davon Manuel; mother, Rose Ann Dangerfield; father, Edward (Elise) Otto Thurman I; two brothers, Antionne (Danielle) Thurman, Delbert (Wendy) Dangerfield Jr.; five sisters, Lea Thurman, Taylor Thurman, Jordan Thurman, Chris Thurman, Chondra Dangerfield; his partner, Jennifer Kimball and a hosts of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. His family would like to thank everyone for their love, support, and prayers during this most difficult time of life. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Peaceful Rest Funeral Chapel.
