Deayon Cooper, age 31, was born March 31, 1993, in Topeka, KS, where he also graduated from Highland Park High School in 2011. Deayon married Jesslyn on August 13, 2022, in Emporia, KS, and they share two children, Dejuan Cooper (2021) and Jamari Cooper (2023). He passed away on July 20, 2024, in Topeka, KS. Deayon was the oldest of six siblings. He enjoyed dancing, bowling, going to the gym, and occasionally golfing. He swore he knew how to cook too. He loved and cherished time with his family. Left to cherish these memories of Deayon are his wife, Jesslyn Cooper; daughter, Jamari Cooper; his mother Shannon Mitchell; father Earon Cooper; his sister Maleah Mumford; brothers Sean Cooper Sr., Dearion Cooper, Elliott Cooper, Eadrian Cooper, and Robert Smith; maternal grandfather John Mitchell; maternal grandparents Harold and Erlene Farley; his paternal grandmother Elaine Cooper; uncles Billy Brown, Ryland Patton, Shawn Mitchell, John Kendrick, and Elon Cooper; his aunt Elleatra Cooper; his nine nieces and nephews; and several cousins. Preceding Deayon in death are his son Dejuan Cooper, his niece Ma'Leinna Cooper, his paternal great-grandmother Louise Elrod, and his cousins Deljuan Patton and Shirlissa Sanders.
